Marcus Rashford has said that he would love to join Barcelona in the summer transfer window and play with Lamine Yamal next season.
The Manchester United striker is expected to leave Old Trafford ahead of the new campaign after falling out with manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan with Aston Villa, providing two goals and two assists in ten Premier League appearances.
Asked about the possibility of joining Barcelona and playing with teenage wonderkid Yamal by Spanish influencer Javi Ruiz, Rashford responded: “Of course I’d love to.”
“Everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully… we’ll see.”
Rashford added: “Spain is nice, and it’s not too far from home.
“If I train here for an extended period, it’s great because my family can come visit for a few days. It’s just a three-hour flight. The weather’s good here too.”
Rashford is one of several players United have considered selling this summer to fund a squad overhaul. Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Andre Onana have all been linked with a move away.
United have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a £62.5m transfer fee and are currently working on a deal to buy Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
