We’ve written about Vince Gilligan’s Wycarro 339 — its working title — on a few occasions now, mostly to ask where is the new series from the Breaking Bad creator? We have an answer now, although we still don’t know much about the show.
It’s called Pluribus. It stars Rhea Seehorn and Karolina Wydra, and is set to arrive on Apple TV+ in November. What’s it about? No clue. The teaser doesn’t help much, either, except to suggest a mysterious premise. Otherwise, we only know there’s a sci-fi element, there’s some Twilight Zone inspiration, and it was filmed in Albuquerque. Apple provides us with the very vague logline: It’s about the most miserable person on Earth who must save the world from happiness.
Here’s the likewise unhelpful (and kind of gross) teaser. Needless to say, I can’t wait.
There’s also a photo of Seehorn above. She’s not sporting a ponytail.
